A Message about COVID-19 and Love Your Longwood Day 2020:
In this time of uncertainty and in response to COVID-19’s effect on our communities at the local, national, and global level, Love Your Longwood Day is being placed on pause, until further notice while we focus our efforts on supporting our communities.
This decision was not made lightly, and while Love Your Longwood Day is a digitally driven event, the health and well being of the entire Longwood family—including students, alumni, parents, and supporters, on and off campus—is our primary concern.
The pandemic has been disruptive—this we all know—but as we learn to adjust to this new, temporary normal, know that we are working tirelessly to support our students and the entire Longwood community during this time. We look forward to the future moments where we can celebrate the Longwood traditions we, and you, hold so dear. And until that time, we are united in our support and care of our loved ones, ourselves, and those around us.
Love Your Longwood Day is a 24-hour social media campaign celebrating participation-- gifts both big and small. Any gift of any amount to any fund across campus gets us closer to our goal of 2,020 heroes!
