The Moton Museum, is a civil rights national historic landmark in partnership with Longwood University. This formal partnership between both institutions allows us to work with students as we draw inspiration and heed the lessons of young citizens who used the tools of a constitutional democracy to help create significant change in our country.
Your support would allow the Moton Museum to continue it's educational and public programming outreach activities. Moton strives to create powerful site-based immersive learning opportunities for students of all ages. Moton is also committed to creating the next generation of museum professionals, educators, public historians, and community leaders through our newly established C.G. Gordon Moss Internship Program.
