Hi Scots! Just in we have a match in place to support athletics nutrition through the Fueling Station in the Deno Fitness Center. $2,500 will be matched dollar for dollar for a total of $5,000 in support of the Fueling Station. The Macalester College athletic department, along with its coaches, supporters, and especially my teammates, played an instrumental role in building my confidence as I began my college experience. The friendships I developed as part of a team provided both stability and encouragement, empowering me to embrace my abilities as an athlete in a new environment. Being involved in sports taught me invaluable qualities such as resilience and perseverance.
I am convinced that my years of participation in athletics, from elementary school through college, prepared me for life by instilling the values of teamwork, determination, and accountability. This is why I choose to give back to Macalester, especially to the Athletics Department. I am proud to have been part of the program as a student and am now honored to support it as an alum.
