Dear Macalester Golf Family,

As the head coach of Macalester Golf, I have the privilege of working with an incredible group of student-athletes who are dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about representing Macalester both on and off the course. Our program is growing, and with that growth comes both exciting opportunities and significant financial challenges.

This year, fundraising is more crucial than ever. We aim to build on the essential parts of our program—like our spring break trip, additional hours for our assistant coaches, and bringing more players to tournaments—which can only happen if we reach our fundraising goal.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. Give To Macalester Days (April 2-4) is the time of year when every dollar you donate is dedicated to enhancing our golfers’ experience. Your generosity will make a direct impact on our student-athletes, ensuring they have the resources to compete at their best, develop as players, and create lasting memories as part of this team.

We want every player to have the best possible experience, and we can’t do it without you. If you’ve ever seen the joy on your golfer’s face after a great round, the camaraderie they share with teammates, or the pride they feel representing Macalester, you know how much this program means.
