Club Ultimate - Women and Gender Inclusive

The Pursesnatchers (Macalester’s Women’s/Gender-Inclusive Ultimate Frisbee team) made history last spring by earning our first-ever bid to Nationals—and we did it while eliminating nearly all player costs, thanks to your incredible support! We finished 5th in the nation for Division III and couldn’t be more grateful to our community for cheering us on every step of the way.

This fall, we welcomed a fantastic group of new players to the Macalester Ultimate community. We competed in two tournaments, plus a joint tournament with Flat Earth (the Open team), focusing on player development, spirited play, and, of course, having lots of fun! Now, we’re gearing up for an exciting spring season with tournaments in Missouri, Iowa, and the postseason series in April, as we make another push for Nationals.

Your donation to the Pursesnatchers helps us:

• Build an inclusive, welcoming, and competitive team environment.
• Introduce new players to this amazing sport and the tight-knit Ultimate community at Mac and beyond.
• Keep Ultimate accessible by covering tournament costs, travel fees, USAU memberships, and jerseys.

Here’s how your gift can directly support the team:

• $10 covers the cost of one new disc.
• $80 provides a jersey bundle.
• $151 covers a required USAU membership ($71) and jersey bundle ($80) for a player.
• $500 funds the bid fee for one tournament.
• $1,500 covers team lodging for a two-night tournament stay.
