Macalester Club Tennis is a gender- and skill-inclusive team that has experienced incredible growth over the past four years—thanks in large part to the generous support from Give to Macalester Day gifts!
This year, we competed in three tournaments against teams from across the Midwest, and for the first time ever, we were able to send two full competition teams thanks to increased interest and the financial resources to make it happen. Your donations have made a direct impact—providing us with Macalester uniforms (featuring our new Highland Coo!), covering transportation to tournaments, and allowing us to reserve off-campus courts with tennis-specific surfaces to better prepare for matches.
Your support also made it possible for us to host our second annual Family and Friends Tournament during MacFest, bringing together alumni, parents, professors, and students for a fun day of friendly match play.
This year, our senior captains have seen firsthand how Club Tennis helps build meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and improve gameplay. With your help, we can ensure future teams have the same opportunities to thrive.
