Ignite Student Organizations

Ignite is a student-led fundraising competition where UConn student groups raise money to support the programs, events, traditions, and experiences that bring students together and enrich campus life.

Your support can help fund cultural celebrations, educational programming, community service initiatives, conferences, events, travel, and more, helping student organizations create meaningful experiences for their members and the broader UConn community.

Through these opportunities, students build friendships, explore new interests, celebrate shared identities, and find a sense of connection and belonging during their time at UConn.

General Ignite Information:

During this three-week campaign, student groups across UConn compete and participate in challenges to earn a share of Ignite prize money.

🏆 Prizes go to top student organizations that:

• ✅ Earn points through donor participation and dollars raised (10 points per donor and 0.5 points per dollar)
• 👥 Bring in the most new donors
• 📈 Increase their donor count from the previous year
• 🤝 Retain donors from the previous year
• 🥇 Earn a top spot on the School of Law ⚖️ leaderboard (10 points per donor and 0.5 points per dollar)
