National Student Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

UConn NSSLHA is an organization specifically tailored to the students majoring in speech language hearing sciences pursuing careers in speech pathology and audiology. We aim to provide educational opportunities for students through guest speakers who are well versed in this career, and can provide new perspectives relative to their concentrations within the SLP field. Our goal here at NSSLHA is to support one another as we all go through the same journey, and speech language pathology is a small and unique major, but has such rewarding results!

This year, our fundraising goal is $350. With the money we raise, we will be able to compensate our guest speakers for their time and knowledge they graciously provide at our meetings, host socials for our NSSLHA members so we can continue to connect with one another and share our passions. We will also use the money we raise to properly celebrate our graduating seniors by gifting them graduation cords and personalized stoles for graduating E-Board members.

Your generous donation means that we are able to continue growing and learning as future speech pathologists and audiologists, and we are so thankful for your support!

Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
