Honors Across State Borders is a student-run service organization that focuses on combining education, service, and community engagement to work toward long-term change. Some of our events include an alternative spring break trip, a fall service trip, educational large and small group discussions, and other service opportunities spread throughout the year. Members are able to learn about social issues, environmental justice, and privilege, then go out into the world and create change!
By supporting us through UConn Ignite, you're putting us one step closer to our alternate break trip to Harrisonburg, Virginia! We will be volunteering with the Central Valley Habitat for Humanity and other local organizations during an impactful week of service. Donation towards our $2500 goal supports our transportation, accommodations, meals, and activities. Our work is made possible because of you!
Any additional funds will be used for the general activities of the group.
