One day. 24 hours. 1,440 minutes. 86,400 seconds. Immeasurable impact.
All it takes for amazing things to happen is the collective force of a community coming together. That's why we are setting aside one day, March 1, for the SU community to give back to Susquehanna University as OneSU.
Last year, Susquehannans not only helped us achieve our OneSU goal but exceed it. The support was incredible, and donors impacted all areas of campus – from academic departments, athletics and scholarships to study abroad experiences, research and internship opportunities and so much more.
Each year, we are so inspired by our community’s loyalty, generosity and determination to come together in support of Susquehanna students. Let’s continue that good work by coming together as OneSU.
If we can reach 1,650 donors by midnight on March 1, members of the Susquehanna University Alumni Board will contribute an additional gift of $50,000. Every donor counts and every gift – regardless of size or campus designation – will benefit Susquehanna students and their college experience.
Thank you for being one with SU!
Thank you to everyone who came together as ONE for Susquehanna!
Your individual gifts helped us reach our goal of 1,650 donors, which unlocked $50,000 additional dollars for SU students. We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. On behalf of the students who benefit from your generosity, we thank you! Together, you made a difference in their lives at SU.
There’s still time to make a gift before midnight and it will count toward the final OneSU total. There are still individual challenges and matches to be met and your support could help them meet their goals, as well.
Thank you for being ONE with SU.
1202 days ago by Logan SweetThanks to you, we surpassed 1,000 OneSU donors before 4 p.m. EST - which unlocked an additional $5,000 challenge gift.
Now, if we hit 1,500 donors by 8 p.m. EST, we'll unlock another $5,000!
Your gift can support everything from academic departments, student scholarships, and athletics to study away programs, internship and research opportunities, and so much more. All gifts, regardless of their size or designation, will directly benefit Susquehanna students and help get us to our overall OneSU goal of 1,650 donors!

Members of Susquehanna's Alumni of Color Advisory Council hope you will join them in support of SUConnects – a dynamic mentoring program managed by the Center for Diversity & Inclusion that pairs experienced, high-achieving older students with incoming first-year students from underrepresented backgrounds to build a strong, safe community; a sense of belonging at Susquehanna; and a culture of excellence.
Last year, we collectively raised $2,130 for this program and we would like to beat that total by raising $2,500 by the end of today. And, if we hit that goal, an anonymous donor will contribute another $1,500!
Together we can help SU students be future ready!

Thanks to you, we surpassed 500 OneSU donors before noon EST - which unlocked an additional $5,000 challenge gift.
Now, if we hit 1,000 donors by 4 p.m. EST, we'll unlock another $5,000!
Remember, you can give to any area of campus most meaningful to you. All gifts, regardless of their size or designation, will directly benefit Susquehanna students. Let's go, SU!

Andrew Jarzyk '09 was given the opportunity to attend Susquehanna as a result of generous donations, scholarships and family support. He was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and served as recruitment chairman, historian, alumni chairman, and president. Andrew was active in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Student Government Association and the Sigmund Weis School of Business Marketing Committee.
Andrew also had the opportunity to have international experiences during his four years at SU. He traveled to Abu Dhabi and Dubai for a global conference and to London for the Sigmund Weis School of Business study abroad program. He contributed in a round table discussion with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, and was constantly building relationships and making meaningful connections.
The Andrew Jarzyk Memorial Scholarship recognizes Andrew's legacy and is awarded based on need, allowing the recipient to take full advantage of everything that Susquehanna has to offer - just as Andrew did.
Gifts to made to the Andrew Jarzyk Memorial Scholarship today will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $10,000, thanks to a generous challenge gift made by an anonymous donor.

The Mark Fertig Memorial Prize was established in 2021 by Professor Fertig's friends and family, in recognition of the extraordinary impact he had on Susquehanna University through the founding of the graphic design program in 2002 and his passionate teaching and mentoring of students and alumni over the course of the following two decades.
The Fertig Prize will be awarded annually to a second-year graphic design student. Recipients will be selected after a student competition organized by Susquehanna University's Department of Art & Design. They will be eligible for funding their junior and senior years at Susquehanna.
You can help us endow the prize fund and celebrate Professor Fertig's legacy in perpetuity by making a gift to the fund today.

Dr. Jerrell Habegger joined the Susquehanna University faculty in 1989, and served as a distinguished member of the accounting faculty for over 32 years. During his time at SU, Dr. Habegger shaped the lives of countless students and formed bonds with colleagues as well. We are grateful for all who have benefited from his keen academic mind and his friendly, easy going personality.
The Habegger Endowment Fund will be used to support the accounting department at Susquehanna University. Even after his retirement last spring, his legacy at Susquehanna will endure.

He was known for being an excellent teacher, and has been frequently credited by former students as having prepared their foundation of financial management concepts. In addition to advancing academic skills, he was instrumental in encouraging students to develop a strong work ethic, confidence, and motivation to engage in continuous learning. In these and countless ways, Dr. Remaley has positively impacted the trajectory of his students’ professional careers. He remains among many alumni’s most memorable faculty members.

Don ’70 and Darcy ’72 Hamlin have seen first-hand how the support of alumni directly impacts our students' experiences on campus and their lives after graduation. They know that every donor counts, no matter the size of their gift. Today, they challenge all alumni to make a gift to the area of campus most meaningful to them - knowing that the collective power of those gifts will have a monumental impact on Susquehanna's deserving students.
If 50 alumni who have NEVER given to Susquehanna make a gift today, they will give an additional $10,000 to student scholarships.

President Green and First Lady Lynn Buck have issued a challenge for all faculty and staff.
For every faculty or staff gift of $10 or more, to any area of campus, President Green and Ms. Buck will make an additional $25 donation, up to $5,000, to support the Summer Community Internship Program. The program will help fund summer internships for students – who are studying the natural and social sciences – with community partner organizations. Every dollar donated to fund, up to $25,000, will be matched by the Council for Independent Colleges’ NetVUE grant program. This is an excellent way to triple the impact of your employee gift, regardless of the campus designation you choose to support.
Thank you for taking advantage of this matching gift, and thank you for all that you do for Susquehanna students!
