The Blough-Weis Library

The cost of textbooks is soaring, rising four times the rate of inflation over the last four decades. Students are feeling the pain, and SU students are no exception.

Blough-Weis Library is reducing textbook costs through our Open Textbook Initiative and Textbook Reserve Program. Your support of these programs will help us spread awareness of open resources at Susquehanna and incentivize faculty to adopt open resources, as well as build our collection of required materials on reserve at the library.

With the support of the Student Government Association (SGA), our Textbook Reserve Program has added over 840 print textbooks that have been checked-out by students over 2,300 times since 2019. Students used library textbooks almost 900 times in 2022, a number that will only increase with your support.
