On March 26th & 27th the Giving Day+ March Mania: Combined Challenge for Lehigh will take place. Giving Day + March Mania is a time for Lehigh Alumni, families, and friends to demonstrate their passion and support for their favorite Lehigh varsity sport.

🤲WHY GIVE? -

Philanthropic support from our Lehigh Athletics family has always been a crucial piece of our goal to achieving distinctive success both in and beyond competition. Incremental financial support from alumni, family and friends is needed in order for teams to compete for Championships, and operate a program of distinction year after year. Support from our community allows teams to hire staff, travel for competition, purchase equipment and uniforms, and provide development activities for our student-athletes to become stronger and successful. We want our programs to be equal to the level of excellence that is Lehigh...but we need your help!

💰WHERE DO GIFTS GO? –

Sport-Specific Gifts | These dollars go directly to supporting the operating budgets of our 25 NCAA Division 1 varsity athletics teams, and are used to augment recruiting, travel, out-of-season scheduling, and equipment & gear costs that exceed the university budget allotment. Additionally, each program has their own unique annual fundraising priorities that, when provided, enhance our chances of competitive success and deliver an even more memorable student-athlete experience.

The Dean’s Fund for Athletics Excellence| These dollars are designed to be flexibly utilized on our department’s highest order priorities, such as:

• Maintaining obligations to gender equity, and responding to opportunities without specific funding that emerge
• Providing incremental resources for the student-athlete development programs, including academic support, leadership development (Flight 45), sports performance, and sports medicine.
