MATCHES & CHALLENGES

Several generous donors have offered matching gifts and challenges supporting specific varsity sport programs. You can view these sport-specific matches and challenges on this page and their corresponding sport pages. Your support of these matches and challenges unlocks additional funding for our varsity programs. 

🙌 Kevin '84, '13P & Lisa Clayton '13P have issued a $30,000 Dean's Fund for Athletics Excellence and multi-sport Challenge!

• ✅When the Dean's Fund for Athletics Excellence raises $10,000, it unlocks an additional $5,000! UNLOCKED
• ✅When Field Hockey raises $10,000 it unlocks an additional $5,000! UNLOCKED
• ✅When Softball raises $10,000 it unlocks an additional $5,000! - UNLOCKED
• ✅When Volleyball raises $10,000 it unlocks an additional $5,000! UNLOCKED
• ✅When Women's Basketball raises $10,000, it unlocks an additional $5,000! UNLOCKED
• ✅When Women's Lacrosse raises $10,000, it unlocks an additional $5,000! UNLOCKED

TOTAL UNLOCKED - $30,000!

In addition, Lehigh Athletics has issued two challenges. 

🥇The Athletics Alumni Challenge is scored according to the percentage of participation in giving among each of our varsity sports’ alumni bodies during the Giving Day + March Mania campaign.  The top five varsity sports alumni bodies will earn extra funds for their programs.  

Highest alumni participation rate by sport unlocks🔓 -

1st - $3,000

2nd - $2,500

3rd - $2,000 

4th - $1,500

5th - $1,000

🏆The Top Donors & Dollars Challenge -  the sport team with the top dollars, and the sport team with the top donors will earn extra funds for their respective programs.

Sport with the most overall dollars unlocks🔓 - $1,000

Sport with the most overall donors unlocks🔓 - $1,000

Total Prize Money - $12,000

* All Lehigh Athletics Alumni, please remember to select the “Athletics Alumni” affiliation if you participated in a varsity sport  and the sport(s) you participated in so your gift(s) may be included in our Athletics Alumni Challenge. Not an alumni of a varsity sport, don’t worry, your gift will still count towards our Top Donors & Dollars challenge!
