Gifts to Academics: Natural and Applied Sciences contribute to...
Meet Justin '24, Janie '25 and more, creating excellence in the natural and applied sciences.
For decades, the Natural and Applied Sciences Division has had a storied tradition of providing excellent education and robust student research experiences in STEM fields.
Since 2010, NASD faculty have published more than 400 peer-reviewed papers, most with undergraduate coauthors. Recently, U.S. News & World Report 2025 ranked Hope College 31st in the nation for undergraduate research, and Hope is consistently awarded more National Science Foundation grants for undergraduate research than any other liberal arts college in the country. This focus on student/faculty collaborative research has made Hope a significant place of preparation for future doctoral degrees in the sciences. More than 270 Hope graduates have earned doctorates in STEM disciplines since 2010.
Your gift will help us continue to provide experiences where students will learn science by doing science.
