Gifts to Global Health Program contribute to...
"Being a major in our new Global Health program was extremely exciting for me because it offered a unique opportunity to understand health through a transdisciplinary lens. I learned to think deeply and critically about global health issues about which I am very passionate. The academic experience, research opportunities, and community connections afforded by the Global Health program prepared me well for my goal of becoming a mental health professional serving those living with chronic illnesses." โ Brooke Bennett, โ23
The Global Health program at Hope College is a new transdisciplinary program integrating the strengths of the natural and applied sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities to equip students as leaders prepared to address the vexing health challenges facing humanity.
The program unites students and faculty across campus, as well as domestic and global partners, in learning and service related to four major areas of concentration: environment, healthy communities, epidemiology and biostatistics, and policy and ethics.
After multiple successful semesters, the Global Health program has numerous declared majors and several declared minors, an exciting indication of future growth.
You can help us by supporting student-faculty teams and their collaborative health research projects. These teams do research domestically and internationally both during the summer and academic year. Their research supports Hope, partnering research facilities, other academic institutions, and health-related organizations.
Your gift can help bring these opportunities to life.
