Hamline’s Music Production program wants to raise $1,000 during Piper Funding Week to supply students with 64GB portable hard drives. Please make a gift to this extraordinary program today.
Three years ago the Hamline Department of Music expanded its curriculum into Music Production. Over these six semesters the word has spread and registrations in production courses have grown rapidly. We are drawing interest from students across a broad demographic and with wide-ranging interests. They are attracted to music production for its technological skills and contemporary applications.
As students move through our music production curriculum, engage in collaborative work with other artists, and apply for internships and jobs, they need to be able to show their work. External hard drives are the ideal secure, portable, and central repository to gather portfolio materials for these newly minted music technology practitioners.
We are asking you to help us purchase fifty 64GB portable hard drives which will establish an inventory from which we can distribute hard drives to students who need them to save their best work and establish their portfolios. Please support students in this forward-looking, skills-based and inclusive program with your gift today!
