Nourish Hope Care Pantry

Some students at Hope College have a quiet need that goes undetected from all outward appearances. And you can play a part in helping them.

Many people think that food insecurity doesn’t exist at Hope, but it is a widespread challenge on most college campuses. About 400 students will need access to free, non-perishable food and basic need items throughout the year. You can help them by supporting the Nourish Hope Care Pantry.

The Nourish Hope pantry has been funded by a start-up grant, but that funding will taper in two years. To plan for the future, we are actively exploring new financial backing. Making a gift today will give students confidence that they can continue to count on the care pantry to supply the food they need.

Your gift also will provide the care pantry staff extra flexibility to purchase perishable foods and culturally relevant food items that students often request.

Whatever you give will nourish students’ bodies and their hope of having steady meals so they are able to take full advantage of all a Hope College education has to offer.
