De La Salle Giving Day is now De La Salle Giving Week, and it’s October 24-28.
Every year, you, members of our treasured community, are asked to invest in what we do here on Winton Drive. Your philanthropic support, in addition to tuition, is very much needed. You help provide financial assistance to one-in-three students, as well as facilitate faculty development and innovation, and ensure the continuation of a wide array of co-curricular activities and programs. Each year you answer the call, despite changing social and economic conditions. We cannot thank you enough!
Now, after four years of instrumental support, we thought we’d shake things up. De La Salle Giving Day is now De La Salle Giving Week so that we can properly showcase how, through your gifts, we are able to make a significant difference in the lives of our Spartans. Each day we will share examples of how your hard-earned dollars help create De La Salle joy in the classroom, on the field or stage, and so much more. You are helping us fulfill our Mission statement, “De La Salle High School recognizes and promotes the dignity of each student by providing an environment that is moral, caring, and joyful.”

The Need for Financial Aid at De La Salle is real. There are many families who desire a Lasallian Catholic college-preparatory education for their sons but can’t afford the tuition.
That means it's more important than ever, especially in these challenging economic times, that we increase efforts to support tuition assistance for families that want to share in the JOY of a De La Salle education.
One in three students receives needs-based tuition assistance. Grants vary from $2,500 per student to nearly full tuition. Your support for financial aid today will support families in need this year.
The good news is that we have an incredible $2 for $1 matching gift ready to boost Bishop Cummins Scholarship Program donations today. Thanks to the generosity of the Wagner and Hanson families, as well as an anonymous donor, every $100 you donate will become $300!!! De La Salle is well known for its athletics and today we celebrate the joy of competition! Share the JOY by watching this video with sophomore Trey Caldwell and discover the joy he experiences competing in track and field and cross country.
On the field, in the pool, on the mat, or on the court - more than 70% of De La Salle student-athletes achieve excellence in and out of the classroom. As a nationally recognized program, the time and effort to maintain De La Salle’s tradition of excellence has created an increased need for resources, including annual operating costs, facility improvements, and annual maintenance. Travel gets more expensive, nutritional and training needs for strength and conditioning increase, as well as needs for new equipment and team kits each and every year. It's not just our students who experience joy at De La Salle. Ask any of our teachers and staff, like Henriette Howett and Giles Thompson '93 and they will happily tell you about the joy they feel when they are on campus. Today we celebrate the faculty and staff of De La Salle and the joy they experience guiding the next generation of Spartans. Click on the video of Mr. Thompson to learn how joy translates for him.

Today we celebrate the start of De La Salle Giving Week and the plethora of activities that our students can take part in throughout the school year. Share the JOY by viewing the video of senior Jack Christensen and hear about his involvement in Company and the Future Imagineers Club.
