The Need for Financial Aid at De La Salle is real. There are many families who desire a Lasallian Catholic college-preparatory education for their sons but can’t afford the tuition.
That means it's more important than ever, especially in these challenging economic times, that we increase efforts to support tuition assistance for families that want to share in the JOY of a De La Salle education.
One in three students receives needs-based tuition assistance. Grants vary from $2,500 per student to nearly full tuition. Your support for financial aid today will support families in need this year.
The good news is that we have an incredible $2 for $1 matching gift ready to boost Bishop Cummins Scholarship Program donations today. Thanks to the generosity of the Wagner and Hanson families, as well as an anonymous donor, every $100 you donate will become $300!!! De La Salle is well known for its athletics and today we celebrate the joy of competition! Share the JOY by watching this video with sophomore Trey Caldwell and discover the joy he experiences competing in track and field and cross country.
On the field, in the pool, on the mat, or on the court - more than 70% of De La Salle student-athletes achieve excellence in and out of the classroom. As a nationally recognized program, the time and effort to maintain De La Salle’s tradition of excellence has created an increased need for resources, including annual operating costs, facility improvements, and annual maintenance. Travel gets more expensive, nutritional and training needs for strength and conditioning increase, as well as needs for new equipment and team kits each and every year. It's not just our students who experience joy at De La Salle. Ask any of our teachers and staff, like Henriette Howett and Giles Thompson '93 and they will happily tell you about the joy they feel when they are on campus.
