Giving Day is a moment for the entire Carolina Friends School community to come together around the values that make this place special. For 36 hours each year, we join together as a community to support the students and staff of Carolina Friends and to celebrate our philanthropic community by making gifts and pledging service to community organizations all across the state, country, and globe.
On October 22–23, we’re asking a simple question: Are You IN?
IN for a school where every student is known, respected, and valued. IN for exceptional teachers and staff who make learning come alive. IN for a community that opens its doors to families across a range of financial circumstances. IN for experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, courage, and connection, from the classroom to the arts, athletics, trips, and our 126-acre campus.
And IN for the Quaker values that guide how we learn and live together: Truth, Acceptance, Peace, Simplicity, and Service.
A gift of any size is a meaningful expression of belonging. Giving Day isn't about everyone giving the same amount. It’s about all of us participating and showing that we’re IN.
Because when our community comes together, philanthropy does more than support Carolina Friends School. It strengthens the people, experiences, and sense of belonging that make CFS what it is.
Giving Day is about more than financial generosity. It’s also an opportunity to put our Quaker value of Service into action by giving your time to a community organization or cause you care about.
This Giving Day, pledge at least one hour of service to an organization of your choice. Your service can happen anywhere: at a local nonprofit, in your community, or wherever your time and talents are needed.
