How does the donor match work?

Every gift, of any amount, will be matched with an additional $100 per donor. Joint gifts made by two donors will be matched with $200. For example:

• $25 from one donor is matched with $100; from two donors, it is matched with $200.
• $100 from one donor is matched with $100; from two donors, it is matched with $200.

How do I make a joint gift?

The best way to indicate that a gift is made jointly is to enter both donor names in the "Joint Gift" field. This allows our team to verify that your gift is made jointly and ensure that it receives the $200 matching amount.

Can I give anonymously?

Yes, absolutely! There is a checkbox on the donation form to indicate that you would prefer to remain anonymous: "Please do not display my name."

Anonymous gifts still count toward Carolina Friends School's 2026 Giving Day totals, but your name will not appear in the list of recent donations online or in future Carolina Friends publications. If giving jointly and anonymously, please still enter both names in the "Name" field.

Can I designate my gift to a specific program or unit of Carolina Friends?

Yes! You may choose how you would like your gift to be used. When you give to "Greatest Need," your gift provides the School with flexibility to support students and the areas of greatest priority. You may also choose "Tuition Support" to support adjusted tuition, or write in another designation on the form. Our team may contact you after Giving Day to clarify the intent of your gift, if needed.

How can I pledge service, and how does the service pledge work?

Giving Day is about more than financial generosity. We also celebrate the many ways our Carolina Friends community gives its time in service to others.

Can I make a donation using digital wallets? Do I have to give online?

Yes! You can give online through the campaign page using Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App Pay, Link, and DAFPay as well as via bank transfer.
