Maize & Blue Daize 2024

Our third-annual Maize & Blue Daize was a big success—both on campus and beyond. Whether you sent a Virtual Friday Flower, attended Worldwide Coffee with Carls, joined us at the Alumni/Student Mixer, or helped us exceed 1866 donors, we're grateful for your participation. 

Together, we unlocked more than $200,000 of matching funds and raised more than $1.075 million for Carleton’s students. That’s the equivalent of…

• Full year grant aid packages for 15 students, plus
• A year of Convo speakers, plus 
• 100 new books in Gould Library, plus
• 200 new eBook subscriptions in Gould Library, plus
• 12 Multicultural Alumni Network (MCAN) Fellows stipends, plus 
• 10 Curricular Innovation Grants for faculty members, plus 
• 10 Student Research Partnerships (SRPs) for students to partner with faculty members on research over the summer, plus 
• New uniforms for three athletic teams! 

Thank you for being part of this collective impact at Carleton. We’re already looking forward to next year. Maize & Blue Daize will be back for Spring 2025!

It's midnight in Northfield, which means Carleton's third-annual Maize & Blue Daize is officially complete. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and attended events throughout the week. It's been a blast!

We've depleted our Maize & Blue Daize match and unlocked all $200,000 for Carleton! BUT a generous donor has offered up a bonus pool of $50,000 for the final hours of the challenge! Gifts will be matched 1:1 (up to $1,000 each). 

These funds are on the line—whatever we don't unlock will disappear at midnight (CT)!

Great Hall has been transformed into Maize & Blue HQ this week. Students are earning points for completing Carleton-themed activities and attending events.
