Bring Back Twigonometry!
. . . FWIW, Twigonometry (RIP) is not in any danger of resurrection and to our knowledge will remain a fond memory of our freshman year. That secluded willow tunnel (like many other spaces at Carleton) was emblematic of the places and community that we hold dear.
One of the things that makes the Carleton community unique is the creation and embrace of new traditions. While Schiller and Rotblatt endure, DVD Fests (quirky!) and Twigonometry were unique to our class’ time on campus. World class academics, fascinating convo speakers, and lifetime friendships will always remain foundations of the student experience.
For our 15th Reunion goal we hope to raise $35,000 and see 35% of our class contribute to our gift! (We’ve set our participation goal to surpass the Class of 2008’s participation for their 15th Reunion!). Your gifts will help ensure that future generations of Carls have access to the same resources that we did to make their own mark on campus culture.
From April 4th - 10th, we’re hosting the Bring Back Twigonometry Challenge. If 70 (that’s just 10 per day) members of the Class of 2009 make gifts to the Alumni Annual Fund during this week long challenge, we’ll unlock an additional $9,000 for our class gift.
Join us? Gifts of any size will help the Class of 2009 reach our goal and ensure that Carleton continues to create transformative experiences for students like the ones we had beneath the braided vines of our beloved Twigonometry.

We're in the final minutes of Maize & Blue Daize 2024, and the donor community keeps growing. Thank you to everyone who keeps advocating for Carleton and encouraging fellow Carls to give back. Let's finish strong!
