It has been 30 years since…
…“The Sign” by Ace of Base was the number-one song on Billboard’s Hot 100.
…“The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" by Morrissey was number one on college radio.
…Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos. (Really. You can Google it. Which you couldn’t do in 1994.)
…Carleton’s Class of 1994 embarked on their last term of senior year.
The latest thing that the Class of 1994 has embarked upon is the Exit 69 Love Songs Vol. 94 challenge. We know that our collective giving enables Carleton to provide opportunities for students to forge meaningful connections beyond the classroom and encourages students to explore their passions, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Thanks to an anonymous group of 1994 classmates, if 94 members of the Class of 1994 make gifts to the AAF during the challenge, their gifts will unlock an additional $25,000 in challenge funds!
As a bonus incentive, if you’re among those 94 donors, you’ll earn yourself a musical slot in our Exit 69 Love Songs, Vol. 94 playlist–give a gift, send a song choice by sharing to the list below and/or emailing Mika De Roo at mikimoto7@yahoo.com.

We're in the final minutes of Maize & Blue Daize 2024, and the donor community keeps growing. Thank you to everyone who keeps advocating for Carleton and encouraging fellow Carls to give back. Let's finish strong!
