Donor Goal Challenge
Thanks to a special group of trustees and President Evans, if we reach our overall participation goal of 1,200 donor participants, a challenge gift of $35,000 will be unlocked.
Pantry of Hope Match
Double your dollars! Thanks to a special group of trustees for offering a $2 for $1 match for this first $4,000 in gifts supporting the OCU Resource Pantry of Hope! The Pantry of Hope supports the OCU community's basic food, clothing, and hygiene needs.
Kramer School of Nursing, PA & PT
The Salmeron Family has offered a generous $100,000 challenge gift, which will be unlocked when Health Professions (PT, PA) and Nursing reach 100 donors.
Wanda L. Bass School of Music
When the Wanda L. Bass School of Music reaches 30 donors, Dean Parker will make an additional $500 gift.
School of Theatre
When the School of Theatre reaches 20 donors, Dean Parker will make an additional $500 gift.
Arts and Sciences
Thanks to alum Joe Case and parents Alok and Archana Gautam, when Petree College of Arts and Sciences reaches 50 donors, it will unlock an additional $10,000.
Dance and Entertainment
OCU Alumna Jeneanne Naifeh has offered a generous challenge gift of $50,000, which will be unlocked once the Ann Lacy School of Dance & Entertainment reaches 100 donors!
Meinders School of Business
If Meinders School of Business reaches 50 donors, Trustee Jenee Lister will unlock a gift of $50,000 to support the school!
Law School
An anonymous donor has made a generous challenge of gift of $50,000 that will be unlocked when the School of Law reaches 100 donors!
2024 Challenges
"Canvas Clash" Challenge (Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business, Dance & Entertainment, Law, Health Professions & Nursing)
Dr. Sri Beldona, Dr. Amy Cataldi, Dr. Gina Crawford, Dean David Holt, Dean Mark Parker, and Dean Melanie Shelley have given their all in a canvas clash painting challenge for Giving Day. Watch the video and donate to your favorite Dean. The school with the most donor participants during Giving Day will win this challenge.
Greek Life Challenge
Bragging rights and more are on the line as fraternity and sorority alumni and students represent their chapters and compete during Giving Day. The chapter with the most alumni and student gifts will receive a $500 donation to their official philanthropy.
Alumni Chapter Challenge
This year we are challenging the chapters across the globe to support OCU. The Dallas/Fort Worth, Tulsa, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, Malaysia and Taiwan chapters are competing to see who can get the most participation. The chapter that wins will have $200 given to their chapter for their next alumni event.
