Women's Basketball

Winthrop Women’s Basketball is building momentum — and the next step is competing for a Big South Championship.

Over the past two seasons, the Eagles have made back-to-back trips to the Big South Tournament semifinals, including a 2024–25 season that produced the program’s highest win total in more than a decade. The progress is clear, and Winthrop is ready to take another step forward.

From October 19–November 3, we’re asking Eagle Nation to help us raise $10,000 for Winthrop Women’s Basketball. Support from this campaign will primarily benefit revenue sharing opportunities for our student-athletes, while also helping provide resources for the program’s trip to San Diego this season.

As college basketball continues to evolve, revenue sharing is an important part of recruiting and retaining talented student-athletes and building a roster capable of competing for championships. Donor support also helps create memorable experiences beyond the court, including opportunities to travel, compete against quality opponents, and represent Winthrop across the country.

The Eagles have established momentum. Now, the goal is to keep building.

$10,000 Goal. One Championship Pursuit.

Help us invest in our student-athletes, support their journey to San Diego, and continue building Winthrop Women’s Basketball toward a Big South Championship.
