Gifts to SONHS: Public Health Simulation & Training contribute to...
Westminsterβs School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SONHS), Master of Public Health program is launching an epidemiology field training and data simulation lab to give students hands-on experience analyzing public health data and responding to real-world health threats.
Through this innovative lab, students will practice core epidemiological skills such as disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, data modeling, and spatial mapping using real and simulated datasets. The lab will be equipped with epidemiological modeling software, outbreak simulation tools, and instructional materials, and it will feature guest-led sessions with public health professionals who bring frontline expertise into the classroom.
These resources prepare students for careers in health departments, nonprofits, and agencies such as the CDC. Your support helps equip future public health leaders with the skills needed to protect communities and respond to public health challenges.
