2021 Give a Hoot
April 6 | Annual Day Of Giving
Hoot Hoot! This is our biggest day of giving and we need your help!
24 HOUR CHALLENGE!
Let’s come together for our students and show the world what being an Owl truly means!
Give a Hoot is a fun philanthropic tradition. This year because of the financial impact of the pandemic, it’s more important than ever to come together to raise money for students. Your support creates opportunities and ensures success for our students—it has an immediate impact!
When fundraising benchmarks are met, generous challenge gifts from the WSAA Executive Council will be unlocked:
GOAL Gift Unlocked
The Westfield Fund 50 donors $500
Athletics 150 donors $500
Leadership Gift!
Join alumnus William T. Hogan, III '77 in supporting the Criminal Justice Alumni Association Scholarship. He has given a leadership gift of $10,000 toward this scholarship and encourages other alums give to this impactful scholarship as well!
You can also join Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Erica Broman, in supporting Owls Helping Owls. She will match all gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $500!
The Leadership Challenge!
100% board participation helps Institutional Advancement gain support for grants and other fundraising campaigns for scholarships, studying abroad, and internships. If all three boards meet 100% participation in Give a Hoot, you will unlock a $10,000 gift from a group of committed Board, Council & Trustee members!
Show your support in three easy ways:
1. GIVE: Donations of all sizes make a difference.
2. ADVOCATE: Create a ‘personal plea’ video below and share on your social media accounts to inspire fellow Owls.
3. CHALLENGE: Motivate your friends and family with a match or challenge gift of your own.
However you participate, your generosity will ensure that more Westfield State students have access to opportunities that will transform their lives forever.
When we rally together, we prove what’s possible every day!
