2021 Give a Hoot: Athletics

The Challenge!

The Westfield State Alumni Association Executive Council will give $500 if we reach 150 donors beating last year’s count of 128 donors. Your gift, of any amount, large and small, will help us reach this goal!

Speaking of challenges, what is an Athletics-Owl Club campaign without some competition? Each of our teams will be competing to raise the most money and the largest amount of donor support.

• The team that has the highest percent of donors compared to how many students played that sport will get $500 for 1^st place.
• The 2^nd place team that has the second highest percent of donors compared to how many people played that sport will get $250 for 2^nd place.
• The team that raises the most money for Give a Hoot will win $500 for 1^st place.
• The team that raise the 2^nd most money will get $250 for 2^nd place.

A team can only win one prize.

Athletic Director Dick Lenfest and Associate Athletic Director Dave Caspole will decide the winners.

WESTFIELD STATE HOCKEY LOCKER ROOM PROJECT & CAMPAIGN

Westfield State Athletics has announced a campaign to outfit a new hockey locker room for the Owls’ varsity program. Westfield State recently reached a license agreement with Amelia Park Arena in Westfield for a dedicated locker room for the Owls’ varsity ice hockey program.
