89.1 WIDR-FM was recently named Best College Radio Station in the Nation at the 2025 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards, highlighting the incredible talent and dedication of WMU’s student broadcasters.
As Western Michigan University’s student-run radio station, WIDR provides hands-on experience in broadcasting, music programming and media production while giving students a platform to share new voices and creative ideas.
