Study Abroad Experiences for Students โ๏ธ
Study abroad is a transformational experience through which students gain major, minor, essential studies and/or elective academic credits while living and learning outside the United States. After a study abroad experience, students are equipped with global knowledge, cross-cultural skills, and a broadened perspective—giving students a competitive edge in the job market and fostering lifelong learning and global connections.
International Student Emergency Fund ๐จ
International students often travel thousands of miles to study at WMU, leaving behind family, financial safety nets, and familiar support systems. When crisis strikes, they can be especially vulnerable.
The International Student Emergency Fund provides immediate, compassionate assistance to students facing unexpected hardship, including:
- Medical or health emergencies
- House fires or sudden loss of housing
- Travel emergencies
- Unexpected financial crises
Your gift offers stability in moments of uncertainty and ensures international Broncos can stay safe, stay enrolled, and stay supported. You become the safety net they can count on. ๐
