At Western Michigan University, every Bronco deserves the chance to succeed. Montgomery Essential Needs helps create golden opportunities for students by ensuring basic needs like food and essential supplies are never a barrier to academic success.
Today, 1 in 12 Broncos uses our food assistance programs. Through the Bronco Food Pantry and Bronco Boxes, students receive nutritious food, personal care items, and support for student parents—including diapers, formula, and baby food. Last year alone, more than 11,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables were distributed to students in need.
