Your support creates golden opportunities for students in WMU’s fashion design and development major—where creativity, technical skill and real‑world experience come together. Students in this program learn to design apparel and soft goods, develop patterns, ensure quality, and coordinate sourcing activities, preparing them for careers in the fashion and product‑development industries.
MODA is the student organization where these emerging designers showcase their work to the community. As a capstone experience, MODA allows students to plan, produce and present their collections, giving them the hands‑on, career‑building experience they need to step confidently into the industry.
