SkyBroncos Precision Flight Team✈️

The SkyBroncos give WMU students hands-on experience in aircraft operations, flight planning and numerous other aviation industry competencies. Students develop technical skills, teamwork, leadership, and real-world problem-solving while representing WMU at regional and national aviation competitions held by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA).

The team has proudly represented WMU on collegiate aviation’s largest stage since 1947. They have won 5 National Championships and countless Regional Championships including their most recent last Fall which qualified them for this year’s national competition this May in Moline, IL.

Gifts to the SkyBroncos help cover aircraft & simulator expenses, travel costs, uniforms, and competition registration fees, ensuring students can participate fully in competitions and gain practical experience that accelerates their careers in aviation.
