About

Dreamers, thinkers, and makers — your support for the College of Arts and Humanities fuels students who shape culture, challenge ideas, and push creativity forward. Your gift demonstrates a commitment to access, opportunity, and the belief that the arts and humanities help build a more just society.

The College of Arts and Humanities supports funds that directly advance student success by creating high-impact learning experiences inside and outside the classroom. These include the Change Agent Fund, the Dean’s Excellence Fund, and other initiatives that help students learn, lead, and create.

Featured Initiatives in the College of Arts and Humanities

Gifts to the College of Arts and Humanities Excellence Fund can be directed to the areas of highest need.

Gifts to our Study Abroad funds support our students’ ability to participate in our dozens of education abroad programs in the Arts and Humanities. These opportunities range from 3-week-long media studies courses exploring Ireland’s journalism industry to semester-long studies in Lyon, France.

Gifts to the Change Agent Fund provide paid campus research opportunities, paid internships, and support for study abroad experiences. This fund supports our equity communications internship, for example.

Gifts to the iCamp Academy - Additionally, the iCamp Academy is a week-long residential summer media camp at WCU for Philadelphia high school students. iCamp empowers students to use digital media to explore social issues and community development. Through this experience, students gain exposure to college life, connect artistic expression with social change, and strengthen the relationship between WCU and the region’s urban communities.

Gifts to the Succeed with Ease Closet supply essential resources to students for their courses, ensuring that students have the books, technology, and supplies they need to walk into their classes ready to learn.

We are proud to be able to offer these opportunities to our students and to our greater community members to help enrich this place we call home. Please consider a gift to any of our funds and feel free to reach out to us if you have questions about where your gift will have the greatest impact.
