Support the WCU Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology
You can assist in the Museum's mission to promote learning, build partnerships, and enhance campus life—help the Museum continue to grow and share its collections and research with future generations.
Located in historic Old Library, The Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology makes a significant impact on the West Chester community. Its student co-curated exhibitions draw thousands of WCU students, faculty, and schools from Chester County and beyond. Students learn professional skills such as curation, collections care and management, extended reality design, museum management and public relations, and have been featured in the TV and print media.
With over 300,000 archaeological and cultural artifacts from across the world, the Museum is expanding to include a permanent gallery where our diverse collection can be displayed, and requires upgrades to safely care for its artifacts.
Your donation will help fund a new gallery and conservation space in Old Library, including:
- Environmental upgrades to adequately preserve delicate, historic textiles and organic material
- New and refurbished exhibit cases and Plexiglass vitrine
- Improved lighting
- Enhanced storage for a growing collection
Your donation will help grow one of the most vibrant and dynamic institutions on campus today!
