The Office of Wellness Promotion engages students in opportunities to cultivate sustainable skills in health and well-being. We provide a variety of programming, resources and services to WCU students on a variety of topics to help students foster connection, create awareness, cultivate insight, and generate meaning. The department employs numerous undergraduate and graduate students.
The Ram Box Initiative is an initiative that began during remote learning in 2020, the Ram Box program connects WCU students with resources, information, and practice activities to cultivate gratitude, manage stress, obtain access to sexual health supplies, learn strategies to quit nicotine, and build connections with other Rams. Due to the success of the program, the Ram Box program continues to thrive today. Students not taking classes at the West Chester campus location can have their boxes mailed to them. The boxes are of no cost to the student. Fundraising efforts will help continue the Ram Box program for students and explore additional ideas for Ram Box topics.
