Show support with the LGBTQIA+ Association of Vanderbilt Alumni (LAVA) on Vanderbilt’s 10th Giving Day
The LGBTQIA+ Association of Vanderbilt Alumni (LAVA) was created by alumni to connect the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as all at Vanderbilt that are supporters and allies, with each other and the university. LAVA is a resource and alumni community for connection, from social, arts and networking events to mentorship and supporting students.
Anchored in Opportunity. Powered by Community.
We’re 10 Giving Days in, and the momentum continues.
Your gift to the K.C. Potter Center for LGBTQI+ Life fuels real impact—right now.
Why It Matters
The K.C. Potter Center is a cultural center and place of affirmation for individuals of all identities and a resource for information and support about gender and sexuality.
When 30 donors make a gift to the K.C. Potter Center for LGBTQI Life, $1,500 will be unlocked from LAVA leadership, including Andrew Granholm, BA’16, Joel Hart, BA’04, and Ramon Ryan, JD’21.
Here are some additional funds to directly support LGBTQIA+ community, programming and efforts at Vanderbilt: Department of Gender and Sexuality Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies Program Fund, Vanderbilt Lambda Association, Owen Out & Allied, OUTLaw.
Celebrate 10 Giving Days of Impact
This milestone moment is powered by thousands of donors who show up year after year. Your participation keeps that momentum going. Every gift strengthens what we are anchored in—and builds what’s next.
