Anchored in Belonging. Powered by Community.
Giving Day 2026 marks Vanderbilt’s 10th Giving Day—a milestone powered by a decade of collective generosity.
Within Student Affairs Belonging and Communities, every gift helps ensure that students have the support, access and opportunity to thrive—academically, socially and personally. On Giving Day, your gift strengthens the spaces, programs and initiatives that help students build connection, engage across differences and find a true sense of belonging at Vanderbilt.
Why Give to Belonging and Communities?
Your Giving Day gift helps:
- Foster belonging
Support the community centers, interfaith engagement, leadership development and community-building programs that ensure students feel seen, valued and supported. - Create meaningful connection
Strengthen the spaces and experiences where students engage in dialogue, build relationships across perspectives and grow through shared learning. This includes university-wide initiatives for growth and learning, such as the annual MLK Commemorative Event Series. - Empower student growth
Expand access to mentorship, educational initiatives and co-curricular opportunities that cultivate confidence, leadership and lifelong skills. This includes the T.H.R.I.V.E. Grant Program, which supports innovative, community-driven projects led by, and in support of, students that strengthen connection, collaboration and belonging across Vanderbilt.
Belonging and Communities includes:
- Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center
- Center for Spiritual and Religious Life
- K.C. Potter Center for LGBTQI+ Life
- Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center
- Student Center for Belonging and Communities
Celebrating 10 Giving Days
For 10 Giving Days, our community has shown up to support the students we serve.
Because of this collective impact, more students have access to connection, reflection and leadership opportunities that enrich their Vanderbilt experience.
Ten Giving Days in and together, we continue building a stronger, more connected Vanderbilt community.
