MAKE A GIFT AND HELP US REACH OUR 40% PARTICIPATION GOAL!
Hello Class of 1986!
We’re thrilled to celebrate our 40th Reunion this April in Charlottesville — a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and make new memories together.
We have an incredible weekend planned! Friday evening, we’ll gather for a class dinner at the Westmore Estate (thank you to our host Bryne Murphy) to celebrate the many generous alumni among us, and the close friendships we continue to share.
Saturday evening class dinner will take place at The Forum Hotel. Prior to dinner we'll dedicate a tree in honor of our classmate, Todd Rancke, who tragically passed away on 9/11. The Tajiha Arboretum, a gift from our dear classmate George, will be a special place for our class to reflect and remember. By making a gift to the Darden Annual Fund this year, you’ll be doing so in memory of Todd. You may also choose to make a contribution to the Peter J. Niehaus Memorial Bicentennial Scholars Fund. We’re hopeful that this year’s scholarship recipients will be able to join us at one of our class events — bringing things full circle and showing the real impact our class’s generosity continues to make.
It's going to be an incredible weekend and we hope to see you there.
With gratitude,
The 1986 Reunion Committee
