Gifts to World Youth Day contribute to...
This summer, 10 UST students will be traveling with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston to Lisbon, Portugal to participate in World Youth Day with Pope Francis.
Founded by Pope Saint John Paul II in 1986, World Youth Days offer an incomparable chance to encounter what it really means to be the Body of Christ united around the Holy Father.
To prepare for the pilgrimage, the students have enrolled in a for-credit Study Abroad which will be taught by Sr. Maria Frassati Jakupcak, OP, in collaboration with Campus Ministry.
Your donation will help offset the price of the trip for students, who must each cover the $5,000 cost of land and air travel. Our fundraising will continue throughout the spring semester.
