Watson College of Education Excellence Fund

Watson College of Education offers high-quality programs, extensive field experiences and applied learning opportunities, strong ties to partners in the community and region, a collaborative learning environment and an unwavering commitment to our students' success. 

Gifts to the Watson College of Education Excellence Fund provide support for the many priority programs and initiatives across the College such as:

• Students who are completing field experiences and internships, as the time-commitment required makes it difficult to continue working jobs outside of the program.
• Professional development opportunities for UNCW students and faculty as well as educators and professionals across our many partnerships.
• Technology such as digital learning tools and software, laptops, iPads, research tools and other important resources that can be used in both classroom and virtual learning environments to better meet the needs of all students.
• Community outreach programs like the Jr. Seahawk Academy that provides STEM learning experiences and mentoring for middle grades students in our community, with a focus on students from economically disadvantaged and underrepresented populations.
