Because of you, Multicultural Affairs re-opened our Hyannis House, an inclusive and affirming space where our BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ students can feel seen, valued, and heard, in the fall of 2023. 🏠
The house needs some items to ensure the mission is fulfilled. Your gift could help to achieve these critical needs!
Interior needs include:
- Water filter faucet attachment to provide cleaner drinking water
- TV monitor for house users to share presentations or watch movies
Exterior needs include:
- Garden beds and gardening supplies for vegetables, herbs, and flowers
- Outdoor furniture so we can host outdoor events and have capacity for more people in our space
Long-term facilities goals include:
- Integrating with campus wifi and phone systems
- Paving the gravel path connecting Hyannis Drive and University Heights, making the Hyannis House more physically accessible for those in wheelchairs, on bikes, etc.
