Today, we support student veterans.
At UMass Dartmouth, student veterans and military students are recognized as valuable contributors to our campus community. UMass Dartmouth has earned the prestigious Gold Status as a Military Friendly School, reflecting the institution’s commitment to student veterans.
In collaboration with the Student Veterans Association, programs and services for veteran and military students help them experience a smooth transition to civilian life and achieve academic and career success. Key initiatives include events to foster community and connection, partnerships with academic and administrative departments to provide tailored educational programs and career services, and addressing needs for accommodations. Veterans' services on campus also include the Veteran and Military Student Center, a dedicated hub for military-connected students.
