At Detroit Mercy, our Service Immersion Trips aren’t just travel—they’re transformative journeys where students roll up their sleeves, open their hearts, and discover what it truly means to be “men and women for and with others.”
From feeding neighbors in shelters and digging into the soil at urban farms, to learning directly from community leaders and reflecting together in evening prayer, these immersive experiences are where compassion meets action—and where Titans discover their call to lead with justice, empathy, and purpose.
Why We Need You 🫶
During spring and summer break, our students travel across the United States to serve, to learn, and to encounter new perspectives and cultures. But here’s the challenge: Detroit Mercy keeps student fees low so that every student—regardless of income—can participate. The real cost of these trips is much higher, and that’s where our community steps in.
Your support helps us keep these immersion opportunities accessible, equitable, and deeply transformative.
