Gifts to NAME A CAMPUS SQUIRREL contribute to...
If you’ve spent any time outdoors here at DU, you know the squirrel community is practically a part of daily life. Always on the move and ever-curious, these campus critters are as familiar and up-close as a first-year roommate – popping up unexpectedly, keeping you company, and making campus life all the more memorable.
This year on 1DAY4DU, you have the chance to unofficially name one of these fuzzy, bushy-tailed celebrities.
When you make a gift of $20.26 or more to the DU Food Pantry, you’ll receive a personalized certificate with your squirrel’s “name” and the warm and fuzzies that come with making a difference for students on campus too.
If you want to take your gift to the next branch, giving $250 or more to the DU Food Pantry makes you a Squirrel VIP and includes a custom plush DU squirrel along with your naming certificate.
Why it really matters:
It all sounds silly, but each gift makes an immediate difference.
Squirrels are known for gathering what they need to prepare for the future – consider setting up a recurring gift, monthly or annually, and support DU students for seasons to come. Click donate, select the recurring option and pick the amount that is right for you
Your support of the DU Food Pantry helps ensure students have access to reliable, nutritious food so they can focus on their education and thrive. A simple act of giving today helps create stability, opportunity, and peace of mind for students who need it most.
