The AAPI Initiatives at Stony Brook University — encompassing the AAPI Mentorship Network and the AAPI Heritages Committee — empower AAPI students to excel both personally and professionally. Through mentorship, leadership development and a strong, supportive community, we help students build confidence, connect with faculty and professionals in their fields of interest and achieve their dreams. Each year, we mentor over 100 graduate and undergraduate students, celebrate their research and creative achievements and provide conference travel scholarships to amplify their voices on larger platforms. Your gift to the AAPI Student Success Fund will help us:

• Present signature events such as the AAPI Heritage Month Opening Ceremony and Keynote, Student Research Symposium, Student Performance Showcase and End of Year Celebration.
• Invite guest speakers to campus for workshops with current students and public events, including livestream capabilities for our alumni audience.
• Help graduate and undergraduate students travel to and present at professional conferences.
• Pay a competitive wage to student interns who gain valuable leadership experience.
