Stony Brook Hillel plays a vital role in the Stony Brook University community, serving as a catalyst for Jewish engagement, learning and community building. We are building the Jewish future and changing the lives of Jewish students.

We are a home for the 1,700 Jewish students at Stony Brook University to explore their relationship with Judaism, Israel and each other. We strive to create a dynamic space where students are empowered to lead and feel a sense of community, the desire to explore and the freedom to be authentic. We play a crucial role in building the Jewish future by empowering students to explore their Jewish identity, engage with Jewish values and develop leadership skills.
