The editors and publishers of TSR are proud to have featured thought-provoking, moving, award-winning work on the literary journal’s pages. During TSR’s tenancy on this planet, we’ve seen what we’ve published be honored over and over again. Short stories and poems featured in book collections. Essays, poems, flash fiction and longer fiction chosen for Best American Essays, Best American Poetry and Best American Short Stories. A number of professors at a variety of colleges and universities have taught stories and, indeed, entire issues of TSR in English and Creative Writing classes.
Call us optimistic. Okay, sometimes we’re plum loco. But we believe in the strength of art. We believe in crafting a review that is meaningful to read and beautiful to hold in one’s hands.
So here’s our call to action: Please donate whatever you can so that we can continue producing a literary journal that is worthy of coffee tables, bedside tables and, yes, school desks. $10, $25, $100? You contributors know what it means to see your words and art on the page. We want to keep fighting for quality. Art is how we justify our existence.
