The money donated to this campaign will help support our world language teacher education candidates. Our students preparing to become French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean teachers (grades 7-12) must pay out-of-pocket expenses for required state exams, fingerprinting and travel to their observation and student teaching sites. These expenses are never covered by financial aid. The “Support a Future World Language Teacher” fund allows us to give awards to students of up to $500 each. Through your generous support, last year we were able to help 10 future world language teachers on their paths to becoming the next generation of inspiring teachers!
